Does the calligraphy on the envelopes have to match the font of the invitations?
My invitations are in the popular style of Bickham Swash Caps
Im really in love with a 'flourishy' calligraphy from my calligrapher.
Do they have to match or does it not matter?

Honestly, Im sure whatever font you choose will compliment each other so I would say it does not have to be an exact match.

I don't think so and I didn't make my friend match her calligraphy to my invitations. I think you should go with what you like.

I dont think so, if it ever has matched or not matched I have never noticed it on invites.

No it doesn't. We had 2 completely different types of fonts.

Nope doesn't matter, In my opinion. Could you picture someone, re-checking the envelope and saying'Dear, we can't possibly go to this wedding, the fonts don't match!' JK

I agree. It will look good no matter what! And I'm pretty sure no one will notice the difference.
