Re: Does the Cantor for my wedding get an invitation?
I also did not know what to do about this, I asked my rabbi, we are having Kosher style, and he is Kosher, but we would have gotten him a sealed Kosher meal, but he said he would feel funny eating in a non kosher catering hall. So since we are temple members, we are going to get him a gift certificate to go to a Glatt Kosher restaurant. He did not want any money for the ceromony.

I think it depends on how close you are with them originally...
If you are having it at a church/temple and are giving them $$$, then no. If you aren't paying for it then a small gift/gift certificate would be nice.
If you are having it on-site, and it is someone from your church/temple and they are travelling to come to the site, it would be nice to invite them. If it is someone the hall provides, then no.
