How does this usually work? When does the MOH's speech happen?

It is usually at the reception right after the best man, or at least thats how its been at every wedding i have been to.
Mine didn't do one because she was too shy!!

Man...that's a lot of pressure....I want my MOH to feel comfortable, so maybe I'll have her do it at the rehearsal dinner....

i am really not sure but i am having two guys talked at the recpetion already so i think i am going to have her talk at the reherasal dinner

My MOH is giving a speech at the reception. hehehehe... She's a talker, so she'll feel right at home!

Reception! Generally the bride and groom do a speech at the rehersal dinner.

We're doing a speech at the rehersal dinner, and MOH and BM are doing speeches at the reception.

Usaually at the reception.


I have only seen the MOH give a speech at the reception, but if she feels more comfortable around less people I guess she can do it at the rehersal dinner

Mine chose not to do one at all, because she hates public speaking. If she were going to do one, it would have been after the best man, at the reception.

At the reception. I think FI and I will do a little speech at the Rehearsal Dinner.

I was MOH for my sister, I just toasted her and her new husband at the reception. My advice is to keep it short and sweet.

I gave my speech at the reception, boy was I nervous, but I was so glad that they will have it on film and it was a part of their day.

I gave my toast (for my sister's wedding) at the reception, right after the BM.

Right!!! Bride and Groom give toast and speech at RD- at the reception- BM or MOH , we had both give a speech- it was great!
