Does it bother you when your parents or FH's parents say that your wedding is 'their day' I just think that is so rude...its a special day to you because your son/daughter is getting married but its not 'your day' you had your day when you got married!!!

Whaaaaattttt????!!!! That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Thank God my parents or FH's parents have never said that! I'd straighten them out quickly!

I've never heard of any parent saying that. It is most definately NOT their day, it is YOUR day. Try not to let what she says get to you.

My colors are light blue and silver/gray. I am having my BMs were blue and the MOB and MOG wear silver/gray. Well my mother wants to wear blue and thinks I should switch it. I am sticking to what I want though. I am fearful that she is just going to buy a blue dress anyway though.

I would be P I S S E D and i think I would correct them on the spot! I or Fh would....no way! That day is FH and your wedding day...I even get mad when people say it is just my day....it is like NO....my FH is very involved and just as excited as I am so it is so OUR day!
If I were you I would say something or have FH say something to her. That is not right! What is wrong with people??????

I've never heard that and I think if I did, I'd pop them in the face! All I hear from everyone from vendors to family is how it's MY day and not FH's. I hope FH feels like it's his day too.
