So my birthday in Feb 29th, which doesn't come this year so i guess it's today or tomorrow. EVERY YEAR, around this time, I get depressed, i don't want to be near anyone, and all I want to do is cry. Not really a great way to celebrate. I am going out tonight, but that's because I am forcing myself to. Does this happen to anyone else??????

i usually get excited for my bday weeks before, but then when it comes, my excitement is usually over and I'm not all about it

im total opposite... i love my bday... i love that everyone comes out to celebrate... and its the one day where its all about you.... so get out of your funk right now and celebrate!!!!

Im with you hun...i get depressed around my birthday...sometimes I feell like I still haven't accomplished enough...of course I am SO happy with my life but I always feel like i need to be doing more

that has to stink that you don't have an actual birthday every year. I am sorry. But if I was you, I would celebrate it the day before or after. I always get excited before my birthday. In the past, I have been excited up until the day and was always disappointed on my bday bc I worked myself up so much... But lately, I have come to take it as it is. Hope you have fun tonight... just enjoy yourself and have some drinks!

I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my birthday! I have a countdown to it, I wear all kinds of silly hats (big pink one w/ light up candles), b-day girl sashes, I even have a pin I wear that says 'Today is my Birthday' that I wear no matter where I go that day . Last year I had 4 cakes, this year I had 3. heheThis year one of my students gave me a tiara and I wore it all day on my b-day and took pics and then gave her a pic of me wearing it, her and her mom were so excited that I wore it. I'm a little obsessed with my b-day.
