did you try it on w/the gown? Some times things look so pretty in your mind because they resemble each other than when you put them on together they can compete w/one another.
My best advise is if you do that don't do long earrings too + a large headpiece you won't know which to look at first - and everybody should be looking at YOU not all the bling.

Not at all, and IMO I think it would look better. There is a lot of detail on your dress, I would opt just for the earring. Either just a pearl or maybe little drop pearl!

i was thinking when i looked at what you posted initially was that the y-shaped necklace might look funny with the straight neckline. i guess it depends how low it drops.
i love simple pearls, so i say go for it.

Your dress has alot of detail I would definitely do the pearl earrings and no necklace. I happen to be fan of the naked neck, I didnt wear a necklace, I only wore diamond studs and a bracelet....nothing else.

I think a bare neck and drop earrings would be perfect.. There is a lot of detail on the dress and you don't want to take away from that

The bodice of your dress is very detailed and ornate, I think that necklace is a little bit much for your dress. I think something more simple would suit it better.

I think this would be a better idea. The necklace is beautiful but a bit much with the detailing on the dress.

Love the pearl idea. I saw your headpiece in your photo album and thought oh boy , that might be too much.
But than again to each it's own. - I didn't want to offend you or hurt your feelings if you had made up your mind already and were settled on the necklace.
