Ok My flower girls' mother and I went to get her dress Sunday....First of all she thought I was paying for it and said 'OH I wasn't sure but I didn't bring my wallet' UMMM IF YOU WEREN'T SURE...WOULDN'T YOU BRING YOUR WALLET JUST IN CASE' so I had to pay for now.

THEN... she calls me today and says that the flowergirls CHRISTENING DRESS STILL FITS. AND SHE'S GOING TO HAVE HER WEAR THAT TO THE WEDDING!!...the baby is now going to be TWO YEARS OLD IN NOVEMBER!!! She was Christened at 3 months old!!!

HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE!!!! How in the Heck could it still fit!!!!

with ELEVEN DAYS TO GO...I HATE EVERYONE!!!!

ETA: BTW...AS IF I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH TO DO..NOW I HAVE TO RETURN THE DAMN DRESS!!

I have decided to ask her if it's b/c she doesn't like the dress or is it that she doesnt want to spend the money?. She'll say it's the money and I think Im going to say..well I really don't want her in her Christening gown so I'll split the cost of the dress with you. THE WHOPPING $25 DOLLARS!!!
What do you ladies think...Will I be letting her get away with the nonsense????

It's so frustrating!!! Everything was going sooo smoothly and now.. with 11 days left.. EVERYONE IS ANNOYING THE CRAP OUT OF ME!!! The same BM (the mother of the fg) Calls me last week to tell me she can't find a long line bra for the BM dress..

What do you want me to do..pull a bra out of my butt for you!! FIGURE IT OUT!!!!!!

Im just going to have my fh deal with this I think!!!

Nope a dress!!!

And lets say the dress actually fits her..which is crazy to me....but usually the christening dresses are that shiny material...not the matte materail the dresses are... so it's going to LOOK like a christening dress!! ugggg

I don't see how she can refuse your offer....$25.00 is nothing these days for a dress for a girl of any age. I wish you luck because there is NO WAY this little girl's christening dress will fit her and look pretty. Good luck and keep us informed.

Yikes!! I am sorry your FSIL is being this way about her daughter's dress! That is insane! I don't think you're idea to split the difference is a bad idea at all, as long as you're okay with it! If she STILL has issues paying even $25, then maybe you should let FH and his bro handle it but make sure they know that this child is NOT to wear her christening dress!!!
