I've only been engaged for 4 months-planning a wedding for October 2011-and I'm already obsessing! I'm on this board constantly; on the knot; on my resorts website (DW wedding) Just started looking at dresses online!
I can't help myself! And I have 24 months to go!

i feel the same way..... i have been engaged since june and getting married july 2011 and cant help but check this site 100 times a day.... as well as search things wedding related.... LOL.... i think its going to be a LONG 655 days!!!!!!!

I eat, sleep, breathe weddings. I cannot think of anything else no matter how hard I try!! I pray that once I book a venue I can get a little peace of mind.

Welcome...I think we are all that way thats why there is a 2011 board with so many brides on here. I already have all of my vendors booked and have already started to look at invitations. If you book now you can get 2009 pricing and save some money

Love all those shows. Do you watch the Wedding Central channel on Cablevision (channel 177)? They have wedding shows on 24/7 (except for some random dating shows that they also put on once in a while). It's the best channel to feed your wedding obsession!

and yes-i watch aLL those shows! Except for the wedding cake one-don't know why but just can't get into it.
I'm really having a hard time resisting the temptation to go look at bridal gows soon! I'm not prepared to buy my gown-would purely be looking-but i used to work in retail; and i feel bad wasting any of the sales associates time...ugh i'll fight the temptation! LOL!

Girl... it gets even worse when you're house hunting.. All you do is watch HGTV... My dvr is actually out of space bc of all the shows LOL

Oh I have it..It's dangerous haha I too run out of DVR room because of it!! I record like everything! haha I loove Wedding Central though it's my fav..& yea this site is bad..really thankful FH got me internet on my phone though not gonna lie..between this & facebook all day long haha

ha! im sure the other girls can agree.. after you book the venue - it gets worst! you will find CPs, lighting, dj, flowers for the venue .. lol

No worries, we are all in the same boat!!! My FH and I got engaged in June and a month later we were already planning.. by September we had already booked our RH. Our wedding date is 6/10/11.... So No worries we are all obessed, if that provides any comfort, lol... Hey if you book this yr at least you get to lock in this yr's prices. Thus far we book our RH and Florist.. we are still looking to book other vendors... So we can all join each other in our obsession!! lol
