We got a quote for a photographer- 8 hours with assistant, engagement shoot, bride/groom album with fifty pictures, two smaller parent albums with twenty five pics for $4600. Speaking with my friends, they seem to be paying more. I'm a big believer in what you pay for is what you get... No free lunches!!! Call me a cynic, Does this seem too low to you?

Photgra[hy is very important to me, so I think that is one area you should not skimp on.
If you can afford it and he does good work, then go for it.

That's how much our photographer wanted for the same package and we think it's totally worth it.

I'm paying just about the same price w/a slightly different package: -photographer and assistant -photojournalist -engagement shoot -free change from color to b&w for any pic -80 pics in up to 2 albums -enlargements (I forget how many of each size)
