Re: Does this price sound right?
It sounds high. Did you get that quote from a Brooklyn florist? It seems to me that the florists in brooklyn charge more than the one's in LI. I'm using a florist from LI. Edited to add: I live in Brooklyn

Re: Does this price sound right?
It's a bit much. I paid a lot less and I am getting the following
- flowers with greenary for the arch in the chapel to be converted into 3 low CP - 1 bride's bok - 1 MOH bok - 2 boutonieres
Flowers, ivory roses, other blue flowers.
It also depends on the type of flowers you are getting.
This sounds way too high!!! I would price around ...

Re: Does this price sound right?
yes i thought so too. i'm getting roses, mini callas and a few verbena (sp?) the green one that looks like a hydrangea. That's what i was quoted from Dyker florist in Bklyn. I didn't want to get one in LI because i live in Bklyn and am having the ceremony at the reception hall... out east? so i wanted my bouquet for the morning of at home...

you can always speak with other florists and call this one back and say look, you told me $XXX for this and another florist has agreed to $YYY and giving me more/the same...what can you do for me?

Re: Does this price sound right?
Why don't you post exactly what you're looking for on the vendor's helping bride's post. If their quotes are lower you can either hire them or present your florist with their quotes and see if your florist can do better.

Re: Does this price sound right?
that does sound high....definetely post on the vendor board. Let them know where you live also and ask if they will travel out there and what the charge will be. Good luck!
