Ok here it goes again...my wedding was june 28th...it will be 4 weeks this saturday. Still no proofs online or in my hands. I FINALLY got in touch with someone and they just informed me that it takes 4-6 weeks and before our proofs are posted online i have to pay the remaining balance. Im starting to get really mad being that the guy made it sound like we would have proofs within a week or 2. Does this sound strange to anyone???
for proofs - no - i think it takes quite some time to get those. but posting a photo or two online shouldn't be that bad. Not sure as I'm still on the other side of things
no i do not think that sounds strange at all.... my photo doesnt even post online.... so i am going to have to scan my proofs inorder to show u lovely ladies!
Thats a relief...what got me is that the photographer told me to go online as soon as i got back from my honeymoon to see the proofs or so i thought he did.
Most of the photogs I met with said that the online proofs would be up a few days after the wedding. Is there anything specified in your contract?
i know Angelica Glass puts up a preview on her blog but i think it takes her awhile to get the online gallery ready - for my bpics i think i waited about 3 weeks to see my proofs on gallery and then i had to wait for a CD - im assuming it takes her even longer for wedding pics -i think denise (espo) might still be waiting for hers and she got married in may - but im not sure on that...so yes, some photogs take longer to put up the proofs and get the CD to you...
This is exactly what happened to me. My proofs were not ready until 6 weeks later, and I had to pay the balance in full before they'd post online.

I think it normally takes about 4-6 weeks. The shortest you can get it is 4 weeks!!! Did you try to contact them?

what does your contract say about payment in full? not sure why they would want payment if you are just viewing proofs. are your ordering prints & albums from them?
Yes..deft check the contract and then give them a call!
