Does this sound like a scam..need your opinions please

Got a call from Royal Prestige..we saw them at the Carlyle Showcase in October or November. We won 3 days 2 nights in our choice of locations BUT we didn't win the grand prize which was the airfare. They want to meet with us to give us the prize and discuss their products which are pots and dishes I think..

What do you think??? I didn't sign up for anything I just said I need to talk with my FI

I used to get those calls and I never showed up for any showcases... I registered for one online and kept getting calls saying I won prizes for all these showcases I never went to.... I think someone on BHB actually posted about winning a vacation. Everyone wins at those things.

ETA: From my experience...I think they're a scam.

I got the same call yesterday!!!! I didn't call back I am worried its a scam.

It's a scam. If you do some research on Royal Prestige or 21st Centurys Bride (I think that's the other name they go under) you'll see a lot of complaints against them. It's not worth your time!!! They've called me 2x since I've been engaged!!

I just posted on another thread on the BHB board about the same company.

I received a phone call from the same company awhile ago. They claimed I won a trip, all I have to do is see their products. I told them I would get back to them.
I never did.
I see it as, if I won a trip I wouldn't have to see anyone's products and I think they would of called me back to claim my prize.

Ok...I was in such a mood when he called...I think he was pissed that I wasn't excited or remembered him from the Showcase..give me a break!

They called me a while back, they come to your house and do a demo for 2 hours, and you dont have to buy anything, and they give you a voucher for free all inclusive hotel stay...there are a bunch of black out dates, but we finally went, and had a good time, only had to pay for airfare....if you dont mind sitting through their presentation, you get to go on vacation

Holy Crap!!! If you do a BBB search under their 'parent' company, Hy Cite Corporation, there are 67 complaints filed in the last 3 years.

Thats is 67 too many for me!!!

I got the call and FI and I went to the demo. It took like 3 hours. It doesn't include airfare. We have yet to redeem our trip and I don't know if we ever will. They called like 3 times after that too. It's not worth it.
