Where I am getting married requires that I use one of their 5 house florists. I went to see one of them and just got the estimate, $3000. That was for my bo-k, moh bo-k, 2 bridesmaid bo-k's, 9 corsages, 9 low ceterpieces, and ivy for 2 colums. I feel that this is ridiculously high. I have an appointment for another of the florists but I am afraid it will have the same outcome. Am I wrong that this is high? I am afraid I may not be able to afford any flowers.

That quote is ridiculous! Can you get your bouquets and corsages at another florist and just use one of the 5 for the centerpieces?

Sounds way high to me. I am getting nine bo-ks, 15 bouts, a FG bo-k, 3 corsages and 16 high centerpieces with no filler for around the same price.

It all depends on who you use and what type of flowers you are choosing. I paid about $2500 for my bo-k, MOH bo-k, 3 corsages, 4 bouts, 2 ceremony pieces and 10 low centerpieces.
Yes you can get cheaper and yes you can spend more. Mine was on the expensive side but I lovedddd my florist and how I was treated.
Go get some more quotes and then make a decision : ). Good luck!!!

I would look into just getting the centerpieces from them and getting your personal flowers else where. The reason some reception sites do this is because they dont want to have tons of people coming in to do all different things so if they narrow it down to house vendors only they dont have to worry about insurance and deliveries. But your personal flowers will be delivered to where ever you are getting ready so they really have no on personal flowers.

sounds high to me!! Id be upset that I had to pay for a hall and then use their over priced flowers! best of luck i hope one of the other ones are cheaper or you can tell your hall the prices are unacceptable!

Sounds high to me . Burtons doesn't charge any different for the kind of flower you choose. It's the same price for any flower. Plus half of the price you got quoted for more stuff. Good Luck
