our travel agent said it's too early to get any airline prices for Aug 2007. She made us a full itinerary for our Italy/Greece honeymoon, but I'm just wondering if there is anything else we could get going on....

I booked in Feb '06 for my HM in March '07 with my TA. You should be able to lock in an '06 quote, or at least learn how much the price will go up with the '07 rates. My TA was able to tell me the percentage rate it would go up and we booked as soon as I learned before it went up again.

That does sound right. Some airlines haven't released airfares for Feb 07 (like Jet Blue). Keep your eye on travel websites and you'll know when they come out.

i have been looking into booking a flight for July 2007.
As of today all of the airline will only let you book until June 30, 2007.
So, I know I have to wait 10 days now to book my entire flight.

this is correct airlines are only about 11 months in advance

that is right. airlines dont allow you to book unless it is within 330 days.

i recall my TA telling me something like u can book air only 330something days in advance.

sounds right, she wouldnt be able to check the flights for august of next year since the computer will show her august of this year automatically (I work in travel industry)

I work for the airlines on the cargo side and the TA might just be saying it because they can't book flights yet
