Does this sound right??

I need around 200 pairs for my slipper basket so i started buying some yesterday, and i was going to get sizes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and like 3 pairs of 11 (just in case), but does this break down sound about right to you?

6 - 30 pairs
7- 60 pairs
8- 70 pairs
9 - 30 pairs
10- 10 pairs

does this sound like a good break down?

I would say get some more 9's and a little less of the 6....

ETA: I say more 9's bc its easier for someone to wear shoes that are a bit bigger than to wear shoes that are smaller (just in case one size runs out faster than another...)

I agree here! Also, I know my family has big feet so I would have to get lots of 10/11's!!

I was looking into cheap flip flops from ebay and a 'mix' of flipflops that come in random colors/sizes and the given standard mix of sizes is..
2 (size 5/6): 5 (size 7/8) : 4 (size 9/10) : 1(size 11/12)

i actually went to a CONFERENCE once that had slippers. lol. lots of walking at this conference!! anyway...they split the baskets into three....and they were marked by sizes. the baskets were all next to eachother, but it definatly made it easier for ppl to pick their size! HTH

ooooo thats actually a really good idea, id have to look for diff size baskets

i havent seen size 5's, i know some girls in my wedding could use them too

im not sure you need 200 pairs though. when i considered doing this i was gonna only do half of the woomen invited since not everyone will use them, you may have a lot leftover

youre right but i would hate to run out so id rather overbuy..... greek mentality lol, which is why my mom always made food for 20 when there was 8 of us at a dinner party
