When I ordered my dress we decided that we were going to add extra appliques to it. They called the company and said they could get them. I guess they didn't know the exact price so on my contract it is written $350-400 max for 9 appliques. This price was not added into my balance however, but it was understood, I thought, that they would order them. Well, I found out that they never did and asked them to please look into it. So I get a call yesterday from the manager saying that I have to write and fax them a letter that says that I agree to pay the $45/per applique to be added to my train at a total of $405. It's on my contract. Shouldn't that be enough??? Plus, I know it's only $5, but my contract did say $400 max. How do you girls feel about this???

I would send them a copy of your contract and explain that you were told no more than $400. Once it's signed, they can't go back on their word.

I know, and it seems so weird that I have to write them a letter saying that I agree to pay for them. It's on my contract. Even if it's not added in the balance it's still on there and signed. They're acting as though they weren't sure if I wanted them.
