Does this sound weird to you?

When I got married, I gave out picture frames to our moms and our readers.

I intended to give them wedding photos once I got them back from the photographer. I did that around 6 months later, but most people didn't put the photo in our frame.

I mentioned it today to my MOH (who is a family member) because we were talking about giving out picture frames for an upcoming party.

I said, 'I like the idea, but I know when I did that for the wedding, no one put the photo in the frame- they used the frame for something different.'

Then, she said, 'I know. I sent them a pic from your wedding with me and my husband and them, but they didn't use the frame for my picture either'

I thought that was odd. Why would she send pictures of herself with my guests and expect them to put that pic in the frames that I gave as gifts?

Or is it just me

wow, its not just you - thats bizarro to me too. if i gave a frame as a gift for my wedding, i'd expect a pic of my wedding to go in the frame...

I gave out picture frames too, expecting the guests to use them with our TY pic. I actually got a few calls from people saying - did you know that your TY pic fits in the frame you gave out!?!??!?! They acted like they just figured out something really hard. DUH that was the point!!!!!!!!

I dunno, it depends on how close I am to the person. I mean, I'd give my mom and dad a picture frame with our wedding photo in it, but I wouldn't expect either of my brothers or my friends to have a huge *** picture of me at my wedding on their mantle.

But yeah, its weird that she gave out pics of herself at your wedding.
