mine doesn't he sits on his arnse and watches tv the only thing I ask him to do is take out the garbage and the bills. and when its time for the garbage to be put out i have to say can you please throw the garbage out and he is like oh look i am throwing the garbage out again. and i am like sheesh you helped your mom out growing up you can help me too. MEN!

FH has certain chores that are his responsibility -- laundry, vacuuming and cleaning the bathroom!! I work 2 jobs and am not cleaning the whole place myself! He's really good about it, though

Once in a blue moon, DH THINKS he cleans. He's so proud of himself for doing it that I don't have the heart to tell him he needs to scrub the tub and not spray it with windex!!

i do all the 'scrubbing'.. DH does the straightening up. He does the cooking, takes out the garbage, and he will wipe things down (especially if company is coming over).
if i cook though, he still will NOT do the dishes... its the one thing he hates, and seriously, he doesnt do a good job on them EVER, so i dont mind- he definately does more than his share around here

ABSOLUTELY NOT! He doesn't even put garbage in the can, he puts it in the sink. He's an animal (but my animal and I love him despite it)

DH is a big help around the house, he vacuums, does the dishes, takes out the garbage. He is a clean person so I hardly have to clean up after him. I am a lucky girl!

DH has certain jobs that he does. I have never touched the vacuum ever and this is not because I'm pregnant. DH thinks he does a better job...whatever He also cleans the glass table after we're done eating. Sometimes, I can get him to unload the dishwasher and do the dishes if I'm lucky!!

Not really at all. If I specifically ask him to do something, he sometimes will (last night I asked him to help me unload the dishwasher). He never offers to vacuum, do laundry, clean the bathroom or kitchen. But, in his defense, when he lived alone he NEVER CLEANED. It was very neat, but dirty.

omg Dh is usually like 'OK we are cleaning today ahahha. usually i am the one helping him. we cook together, alternate on dishes. he washes the clothes (i am not too good w/ the whole color seperation thing), i fold them(he kind of rolls his clothes ). whoever notices the garbage is full, takes it out. we do most of it together, its really nice. i am very, very lucky. my fmil 'trained' him well

Currently he doesn't live here, although he's over a few nights a week. USUALLY he is pretty good & takes care of waxing the floors, taking garbage out & cleaning the bathroom (minus the toilet), HOWEVER, lately to get him to take out the garbage I find myself leaving the top open & the box of bags out. Sometimes that doesn't even make him 'get it' so I'll move the garbage pail in the middle of the doorway...sometimes its just not worth the hassle & I'll do it myself.
It just drives me up the wall sometimes b/c yesterday was my niece's christening & my parents were coming over. I said we have to straighten up. I made the bed, dusted the furniture, windexed & he was sitting on the computer looking up random things. I was like can you please vacuum?! I swear he turned on the vacuum & went over the rug once & shut it off in less than a minute. I came out of the bedroom & said what happened. He said, I'm finished.
