Mine does! He is home before me and usually makes dinner for me so that when I get home we can sit down together. He is such a good cook too! Tonight he is making lemon chicken! YUMMY!!!
He cooks during the week and I cook on the weekends..unless I suggest we go out to eat so I don't have too...

Re: Does your FI/DH cook?
My hubby can cook. He grew up working at his Dad's pizzeria so he learned alot. He cooks when he has to and when he wants to help. Most of the time I do the cooking because I LOVE to cook.
One Valentine's day he was sooo sweet. I had to go to school that night and I had worked during the day. We were also low on $$$ so we decided not to go out or buy eachother anything. When I came home from school he had flowers, a card and dinner ready on the table. It was very romantic and one of the best Valentine's day.

Re: Does your FI/DH cook?
Yes, he went to cooking school too. He sometimes cooks for me but not all the time.
He doesn't do anything too exotic like lemon chicken. LOL
He's a meat and potatoes guy. Sigh.
But he made Spaghetti Bolognese (sp) last week. That was good. And he's helpful about showing me how long to cook something or how to do culinary type things.

The extent of anthonys cooking is:
1. cheesesteaks 2. tortellini soup with cheese bread 3. lemon pepper chicken with ziti
AND
what he thinks is his most 'wonderful' creation ever...
drum roll please..........
chicken roll ups... chicken cutlet with stouffing inside of it with gravy on the top..I swear he thinks hes Martha when he makes that! LMAO

Re: Does your FI/DH cook?
His new hobby is cooking. He likes to get all these kitchen contraptions, like he just bought a tomato peeler. I like that he cooks, but he's driving me crazy. Truthfully, I'm lucky that he does cook, because I don't!!! The latest is that he wants to buy a roasting pan. He asked me if he should, and I told him to make sure that it is big enough for him to sleep in, since there will be no more room left in the apartment for him!!!

Nope....ok...a little...he makes awesome pancakes. Does opening the wallet count as 'cooking'..... LOL....he does what he can but we don't live together so we don't worry about it right now. He does take great care of me when I'm sick!!

Re: Does your FI/DH cook?
FH can and does cook. He is just as excited about registering for kitchen stuff as I am. Since we both like to cook and bake, I think the biggest fight we will have will be who gets to use the Kitchen-Aid mixer

Re: Does your FI/DH cook?
I have the only fireman in the world who can't cook
He 'ASSISTS'. AT home he makes the salads, cuts the veggies, etc but he doesn't cook. He only BBQs. The extent of his cooking is linguini and white clam sauce (which is actually good).
I will NEVER complain though because he is just amazing around the house. He scrubs the shower, vacuums, takes out the garbage, cleans the yard, does the dishes, runs errands (post office, dry cleaners, etc), does our laundry, etc so I consider myself pretty luck

Re: Does your FI/DH cook?
Yes he can and does it very well. The only problem is sometimes he forgets he is at home and not the firehouse and cooks enough for 8 instead of just 3

Re: Does your FI/DH cook?
My DH is trying! He likes the idea of cooking, but he doesn't know how. He's getting better though. We made Penne a la vodka last night together and it came out pretty good.
He jokes that he could be on food tv...as a comedy though.
