Does your FI/DH cook?

Mine does! He is home before me and usually makes dinner for me so that when I get home we can sit down together. He is such a good cook too! Tonight he is making lemon chicken! YUMMY!!!

He cooks during the week and I cook on the weekends..unless I suggest we go out to eat so I don't have too...

He grills! And he's awesome at it.
(He always gets stuck grilling whenever we visit friends. Actually, we don't mind, cause then we're guaranteed a good meal. )

Since I moved in with his family he cooks for us. I don't like being in his family's kitchen. I feel uncomfortable.

When I had my own place we'd cook together. I like to cook.

For now.. and for the next year.. he does ALL the cooking. When the house is empty we jump on the chance to cook together. I love to bake stuff too!

I do all the cooking in the kitchen, he does all the grilling. That makes me love summer even more

All the time! He is a fireman...and it seems like they all cook. I think he was a chef in a former life.
Portbello mushroom risotto stuffed in tomatoes with melted provel cheese...grilled veggies with a hint of rosemary...port loin with a demi glaze reduction sauce (I think it has maple syrup in it)...and that was just last night!
I tell everybody I am getting a great wife!

Re: Does your FI/DH cook?

Yes, but not frequently. He LOVES to cook, but our last kitchen was too small for the two of us to even stand in comfortably, let alone cook, and he's been very busy lately so he hasn't had time in our new place (not that the kitchen is much bigger, but we have more counterspace now). I don't necessarily like the stuff he makes, but that's only because of some of the ingredients he uses, not because he can't. He was originally going to school for hotel/restaurant management and had to take cooking courses, so he loves to do it and we're registered for all sorts of cooking stuff. Once we have a house and a BIG kitchen (requirement for us), he'll do more cooking.

No. I wish he did! I'm hoping once we get married he'll try to make something other than mac & Cheese!
