Does your FMIL call your FH a nick name that makes you want to scream?

Original post by DananTodd

mine does!! She calls him 'todd-i-kins', or 'Todd-cat'...every time she says either, I want to puke. Hello!! He's 32!! And Todd cat sounds perverse..eww.

WHY don't they have a chat topic for in laws?? Man oh man, I'd be over there all gosh darn day!!

My fiance's name is Jose. His whole family calls him Joselito, which means Little Jose. It doesn't bother me though. I wouldn't call him that though. I guess they have to call him something a little different because his father and his stepfather are also named Jose.

Junior

He has the same first name as his Dad but not middle name..so he is not 'technically' a junior.

It drives me CRAZY for some reason!

my FMIL calls my FH Di-di, because his name is danny... but at least she doesn't say 'is di-di tie-tie?' anymore like she used to when he came home late from work and looked exhausted... lol

too funny

FMIL calls Rob 'Robbie' sometimes. It isn't awful... but it sounds weird on a grown man. And our son is Robbie so it gets confusing.
