Re: does your m/u artist
My M/U artist told me that we have to find our own lipsticks/liners/gloss. I have no problem with that as I do not like sharing lipstick. I bought about 5 so far for her to choose from. Another artist I did a trial with cut off a little bit and put it in a container for the bride only. But her prices were a little higher than the girl I went with, so maybe its a way to keep overhead down? I don't know, but it's completely fine with me.

mine gave me my choice of lipstick. she brought the all-day one and the lipgloss. i went w the gloss, cuz i hate how the all-day one looks crackly later.

I think it's worth it to buy a lipstick to have with you for the day and after. If the makeup artists gives you a full size department store brand lipstick he or she would have to factor it into the price.

yes mine includes a small thing of lipstick/brush for touch ups. she even gave it to me after my trial.

I bought my own liner, stick & gloss. The same one she used at my trial.
