Does your puppy/dog get the hiccups?

Pastina gets hiccups a lot. The first time, I freaked out because I though she was having convulsions, but then I realized it's just the hiccups.

So, I'll burp her and they go away. But, they're really STRONG hiccups!

I think its a puppy thing. Murphy used to get bad hiccups too and now he never does.

Bama gets the hiccups a few times a day, and it's mostly after he eats!

yep - our vet said it's a puppy thing and it's totally normal. Golem always gets hiccups after he eats, and sometimes just when he's excited. It freaked me out too at first, I thought he was going to be sick or something! Our vet is funny, he says they're still so young and everything is growing all at once, and the hiccups are like a little short circuit

Lucy does, especially when she gets too excited!

the puppy does get them quite a bit, but Fascinus (the pug) still gets them & he is 4......I don't kneo if they ever reall grow out of it.

It never hurt either of them, but you may want to bring it up next time you see he vet.
