Dog Care while on HM

Hi, my saga continues in trying to find a kennel or in home sitting for our black lab while we are on our HM. We found a great kennel, Konab Kennels through this board but they are closed on vacation the weeks we need to board, so we are back to the drawing board. Please let me know if any of you know of dog kennels where the dogs are not kept in little cages. Esp. if you know of anyone who watches dogs in their home, we will pay cash for that. I cannot bear the thought of my poor dog being locked up alone for 2 weeks Any help would be great, thanks in advance!

Thanks all for your help! Julianne, I left the sitter that you recommended a message this afternoon, thanks for checking in on me I am trying to cover all of my bases just in case. She actually lives close by my house, so I am hoping that works out. Irene, thanks for your recommendation as well, I am going to give your friend a call. I also got a recommendation to K-9 dog camp in Port Jeff, so my panic is subsiding
