I feel like a dork for knowing this, but it was the American Kennel Club Dog Show last week.
BTW, has anyone seen the movie “Best in Show?” So funny, and it’s the reason why I started watching the real dog shows!

The commentator in the movie says the same silly stuff that they actually say. It is hysterical!!!

I am giving my predictions for some of the class winners: the large poodle the peekanese(sp?) Wes The Ibizian (they seem to be the in thing now)and the Doberman...Raisin
Personally i am a BIG doberman fan so i hope Raisin wins but that is not going to happen I bet it wil come down to either.. Wes of the Ibizian

My MIL raises show dogs (English Springer Spaniels) , so I pay attention to this. In fact, my hubby would kill if he knew I was posting this, but he was a juinior handler when he was 13 and his dogs always won!!

I LOVE Raisin! I think she is gorgeous, and I was thinking she might have won the AKC, but I was happy to see the little Terrier Cocoa win instead......

Raisin is a BEAUTIFUL Doberman. The kind of scare me, but they are supposed to be GREAT family dogs. Probably because when I went walking one day, one came after me

I guess they look scary..A lot of people shy away from my Mini Pin..because of the Doberman...But my Aunt used to breed them so i am used to it.

Trish my ex-husband and I were Springer lovers. We had 2 of them (1 before we had kids) and they were part of the family. Sadly, my DH is severely allergic to all animals so no more doggies for me.
I watch this every year and always cheer for the Springer to win.
