what do you plan to do (or did) with your doggy on the day of? are you planning at all to have your doggy involved?
i know it may sound nutty, but our doggy is like our little girl - i had her since she was 10 weeks old - and i would just love to have her even for a bit involved. fh loves her too, but thinks she may do something in a not-so-great place at a not-so-great time.

Aww..I am the same way with my dog, Jack. I would love to have him there but I know I can't. I am going to have a neighbor walk him and then have my parents pick him up after the wedding and take him to their house. Since he can't be there, I got a caketopper custom made in his honor.
how cute!!! i'm still really hoping she can be there. but probably not likely. i've seen pics where the doggy was involved and it was soooo awesome to see the couple with their dog(s).
it made for really special and unique photos.

I will be having him around for pictures and then I'll arrange to have one of my sisters (VERY RESPONSIBLE) friends there to take him to the puppy hotel he'll be staying at. He's our baby and it would be wrong not to have him included in the day. This does not mean however that I will have him be IN the actual wedding... he's a loose cannon... ya never know what he'll do... very hyper puppy!!

OUR CHURCH WAS BY OUR HOUSE SO TOWARDS THE END OF OUR CEREMONY THE BM'S WIFE WENT AND GOT ROCKY AND BROUGHT HIM TO THE CHURCH SO WE COULD TAKE PICS OF HIM OUT SIDE. I AM SO GLAD WE DID BECAUSE WE GOT SOME REALLY GREAT SHOTS OF HIM WITH US.

i want to get my dog a little doggie tux to take some pictures with me before the ceremony but now it looks like that might not work out due to the logistics of getting married, this is something i must work out

ok - so FH will have Brutus but there is no photog going to his house
i am trying to see if it is possible for just the two of us to go back to his house after the church and take a few quick pics - his house is only 5 blocks away. . . .
and i have an obscene amount of time btw the church and CH. . . .
debating - bc if everyone follows me there then it will be such chaos he probably wont even stay still for a pic!

We will put Charlotte in a pet hotel the day before because we will have way too much going on. Vinny and I are her only care takers so I can't ask anyone else to care for her while we are so consumed with the wedding... Char loves the pet hotel we send her to... then either my sister and Mom will watch her or my FIL's will watch her for our honeymoon-- b/c that's too long to leave her at the hotel, no matter how much she loves it!

My dog was too feisty at that time. He has since calmed down. We put him into our photo montages that were shown at the CH and reception. It was all we could really do. For our wedding night, since the whole family was busy, we hired dog sitters who work in our vet's office.
Another LIW bride, AnniesSS had her dog as ring bearer. He was there for her outdoor ceremony. Her dog is older and very good. . ETA this photo is from her LIW album.

We are trying to convince the Deacon to let us have someone walk Chester down the aisle and then bring him back home. A cameo! (We live a block down from the church) If that is a no go he is DEFINATELY taking pics w/ me here at the house as I get ready and then taking pics at the church w/ FH before I show up.
THERE IS NO WAY HE IS NOT GOING TO BE INVOLVED!!! He is our 'son' and the day would not be as special w/ out him!
pebbles first fitting with no veil still have to see how that will go, she will be part of pictures. and i want to get her a pretty barette for her hair.
our neighbor is going to watch him, we have a tux for him to take some pics at the house!

Hi ~ I wanted to have them involved (since they are my kids ~ i have 4 chihuahuas) but FH said absolutely not...he thinks i am crazy sometimes...but I did see on a past wedding they had a pic of the furbaby in a tux in a framed picture placed near the cake ~ I think I am going to do that ~ since i am not going to be around for a couple of days and I will miss them bunches!
