doggy owners - what do you plan to do . . .

Original post by Audreygirl

what do you plan to do (or did) with your doggy on the day of? are you planning at all to have your doggy involved?

i know it may sound nutty, but our doggy is like our little girl - i had her since she was 10 weeks old - and i would just love to have her even for a bit involved. fh loves her too, but thinks she may do something in a not-so-great place at a not-so-great time.

I really wish we can have Barney there. Hes a Golden Retriever. We just got him in december and hes a rescue dog but hes like our son. He sheds ALOT so I dont want dog hair all of FH's tux and all the groomsmen tuxes. Also, the church is in Bellmore and we live in Bay Shore so nobody will be there to take him home

how cute..

we are going to put a huge pink bow on our baby and take pics and put them on our sweetheart table and placecard table..

my pup will never go for the veil and get up - she has some personality and wil;l take it off the second anything goes on..

i like this idea too. btw - my girl wouldn't go for the veil either. she would make a big show trying to take it off. she's very dramatic. lololol.

Although they could be part of the ceremony (we really wanted them to!!!), they cannot be at our reception (food places and doggies are no no). Since the reception is immediatelly after the ceremony, someone will be keeping them on the day of.

I would LOVE to have Busey around to take pictures, but she is not very well behaved... I can't have her jumping on my dress!!!
I am thinking Doggie Hotel.
I love this pic

I wanted them in the ceremony, but the church said no

Anywho, a family friend checked in on them & walked them in between the ceremony & reception.
