so i was wondering, how do you all feel about having dogs included in the ceremony? i notice ALOT of people have their dogs as their aviators... so i was wondering of ways you would include them or any ideas or comments on the situation. i REALLY want to at least have my chihuahua there, but the way we are doing things it just wont work out. but id love to hear how or what you guys are doing with your dogs that special day

You might want to do a search here. wc0143 used her dogs for her weddings. She posted pictures as well.

I have seen it in a few weddings on here too, I love the idea. I wish I could bring our cats, but we will just include them in the pics at home.

I love the weddings with dogs in them. I think its so cute with them as ring bearers!!! I think for that, you have to have some good behaving dogs.
It would never work with my dog! Instead of running down the eisle, he would run up to the first person he would see with food!! And start doing tricks to get it!

We're having ours in the wedding. He is a chihuahua, and we have a tuxedo for him.. I see you have a chihuaha, is it a girl or boy.. here is mine (i have to show him off)
hey guys, off the topic but on the topic of chihuahas...i was thinking after we get married i'd like to get another dog. and i was thinking of a chihuahua because we'd be in a small apartment!
do you guys have any suggestions/advice? How are their temperments? Are they jealous dogs? Do they get along well with children?
by the way they're both so cute

i wanted to have my dogs as part of the ceremony, but my church adamantly said no. So i think they will get tuxedos and be outside the church if i can get someone to watch them. They have to be part of my day-theya re like my children.

Re: Dogs and Weddings
JZNCK i have 2 dogs, Tinkerbell a 1 year old female chihuahua (love of my life) and a 2 yr old male miniature pinscher... you can see their pix in my photo albumn...... im alittle pissed actually, i bought these amazing shoesyesterday to wear in Vegasand i just noticed like an hour ago the heel on one is already slightly chewed. (my fault for leaving the closet door open) i LOVE my babies. we'll see if they come with us or to vegas. hotels there are alittle strict, the chapels dont really mind though.
Azoodie2, they are the bestest dogs ever in my opinion!!! i have a minpin as well, but (this is so bad of me to say) but my chihuahua is my favorite. shes kinda mine and my minpins kinda my fiances. shes REALLY a great dog. perfect for an apartment. i live in one too. she LOVES people but doesnt like any other dog that isnt her family.... but not all chis are like that. some LOVE other dogs. she doesnt bark alot either. she is very smart though and knows lots of tricks. as you can see by her pic she used to do 'doggy modeling' and yes, she was pink. so that kinda tells you alittle bit about her temperment. ask me ANY questions. chihuahuas are my specialty

FH and I would absolutely LOVE to have our dogs at our wedding, but it just couldn't happen. They'd be so ill-behaved, it wouldn't be worth the effort!
