Dogs for people with allergies

I am a HUGE dog lover. Growing up we always had at least 2 dogs at a time and they are a huge part of my life. Well its killing me now that I don't have a dog in my house. DH has bad asthma and allergies to any pet dander. I know there are dogs out there that don't have this and have 'hair', like humans. Anyone know of any breeds??

poodles have hair instead of fur.

that might be a choice for you.

But please consider rescuing a dog from a rescue or shelter. Please don't buy from a pet store.

If you can't rescue, make sure the breeder is a good one.

You can do a search on petfinder.com

Chinese Cresteds are completely non-allergenic

I have heard Yorkies are too.
But definitely Poodles and 'Poo mixes'

I too have allergies, but my puppy Yorkie doesn't effect me at all!

Hey Dottie, I know you would LOVE to rescue a puppie because thats what you have always done, but with your DH, its not going to work. he will die from his asthma!! I say, look around as best you can, and if you HAVE to guy one then go for it. I know its better to rescue them, but you dont have much choice.
