Dogs in wedding

Is anyone having their dog in their wedding or dressing them up???

i would love to, but i think it would be hard to get him somewhere btwn the ceremony and the reception. i am just going to take a few pictures with him when i am getting ready!

My church laughed at me when i asked. Then when i asked again he said we were not allowed.

FI's stepmother and father included their 2 dogs, but they had a backyard ceremony, so I don't think they had to worry about anyone saying no. It was really cute though, the dogs, both girls, had floral wreaths around their necks.

I would love to have both our dogs in the ceremony... but FH's rottie doesn't like a lot of people and my dog is just too hyper.

Anyone have a border collie? Because I love, love, love my dog, but I could never have him at my wedding...he's nutty!

Mines a german sheperd/border collie mix and nutty is an understatement. The only time she sits still is when there is a thunderstorm and that means she usually on your lap.

we are having ours at the wedding - we got special permission from the hall - lol i am working on her dress - - lol - it is going to be so much fun

I would love our husky to be part of it, but she's a spaz! Not to mention, she would shed all over all the tuxes! lol! Our hall has a mantle, so we're going to put a picture of her there.

Our three dogs were in our wedding ... 'my' dog walked down the aisle with my mom, 'his' dog was up front with the best man, 'our' dog was escorted down the aisle by a nephew. They are our kids and couldn't imagine them not being a part of it.

We will be dressing up our dog.. He won't be at the church or reception, but he will be photographed with me at my house before I leave for church.

I want to sooo bad but FI says no way. He is a Jack Russell after all. I could see him ripping off the pew bows, jumping on everyone, etc.

If we were having an outdoor wedding, than we'd seriously consider it. I'll proabably just take pix with him before the ceremony.
