dogs in wedding party

WE have two puggles and thought of using then in the wedding for flower doggie and ring doggie . Has anyone ever done this? We are also going to get married at the RH and what would we do with them afterwards?

I wanted to do this so badly with my angel poodle Jeffrey - but he passed away not long ago.

You have to check with your RH to make sure they permit the dogs being there even for just the ceremony. If they will only allow them for the ceremony and not reception, find out if there's a local doggy spa nearby. They're more and more popular now!!1

i went 2 a wedding @ russos on the fourth of july and the dog was introduced with the bridal party and he came in wearing a lil doggie tux....sooo cute!!! a friend brought him home after the couple was announced.....luckily they live a few blocks away or else it might be too difficult.....i love the idea tho! i want my lil pup to be there too!

I think it is such a cute idea BUT...then you have to find someone to take care of them during the ceremony and stuff...I am going to take some pics with my dog at my house so she gets in some pics....plus it is an excuse to get her an outfit...lol

I am so sorry about your dog...I do think the idea of including your dog in the wedding is great...we are getting married ina church,so I have a feeling this would be frowned upon

my fh and his brother wanted to have our shih tzu and his bulldog as ringbearers but id rather not deal with it.

sorry, you mentioned that you were getting married at the rh... if someone can take them home afterward it could work. Some people have kept their dog at the reception, ut if your puggles are anything like mine.... you amy have your hands full@!!!!!

My dogs are insane. My mini dachshund would be wimpering and afraid the whole time, my papillion would be biting everyone and my Choc lab would be trying to eat all the food. I don't think my dogs would be a good addition to my wedding no matter how adorable I think it is.

It's a cute idea. I woulde definitele arrange fr a neighbor or someone whos not going to the reception to take them home afterwards. You can always keep them in a crate after, but they may be better off back at home. Also, check if your RH will let you.

FH's brother already told us that he doesn't care if FH has a son, his Boston Terrier, Oliver will be his ring bearer...LOL

Plicer is not in our wedding, bnut FH will put a bowtie on Oliver in the am when the guys are getting ready and tak pics with him.

Same here.. me and FH are so in love with our dogs, but i don't think the church would like that, and also i don't think the dogs will want to sit through the ceremony either!!! I wouldn't want to risk someone peeing in church..lmao! But putting them in the photo montage is a GREAT Idea!!! Thanks.. i'm stealing that...lmaoooo
