Dogster help! I got this e-mail..... what do I do?
This person (who I think is a little nutty) wants to be on Bama's buddy list. Do I answer them?

Yikes! I got 7 more e-mails! (one is from lolita ) And I only signed up yesterday! How the heck do these people find Bama? I wouldn't have the time to sit there all day searching through the 3 bazillion dogs!

I'm on catster (just for a joke), and Hades already had 3 kitty friends, and the emails are piling up in my inbox for more friends! Its so wierd. I figure since I didn't give any address/phone info, it is safe.

I think you can search for 'friends' by breed, which may be how people are finding you so quickly. I think it's harmless, it's just a buddy list - you don't have to commit your pups to a relationship or anything

Ok, whew! So strange, this Dogster thing. I just don't see how there's any benefit, unless you find someone that lives near you and want to have play dates. But, it is kind of fun looking at the pictures and reading some of the bios!

It's all harmless. Oscar has buddies from here and from a dachshund group that I find very helpful. Then, I think that some of the other dachshund owners have friends, with various breed dogs who wanted to link to all the same people that their friends have.

ok. its not people e-mailing you!
if you search dogs and see a dog you like you click 'lets be pup pals'... then Dogster emails you. you do not respond. you simply click the link to approve this dog as a pup pal.
