Doing a bouquet/garter toss?

I was just curious how many of you were doing the 'tosses', who was doing an Anniversary Dance, and who was just forgoing the whole thing.

We're doing the bo-k toss, garter toss and the anniversary dance.

I will toss one bo-k and the other bo-k, I plan to give to the couple who have been married the longest.

We're only doing the bouquet, no garter. Seriously, Adam's friends are a bunch of geeks (and I mean that as lovingly as possible), and the mere thought of my garter in sweaty geek palm disturbs me.

This post, btw, is in no way meant to put geeks down - I am one.

Speaking as a single woman who has been to many weddings, I can say that I hate the bo-k toss. I will not have it. I am going give my bo-k to my mom after I say a few words about my wonderful mommy!

FH & I were actually just having this conversation last night & we decided not to do any of it. I might present my bo-k to my mom or grandmother--still up in the air with plenty of time to decide!!

We only did the taking off of the garter, then we were going to do the anniversary dance.. to find out who is the longest married couple at the wedding. Once it was just the oldest married couple on the dance floor, we were going to give them to bouquet and the garter... I wanted to do this because I dont really have any girlfriends who arent married or engaged...
The only problem with my whole plan was my idiot DJ messed the WHOLE THING UP!!!!!!!! I was so angry!
