Doing menus for your wedding?

Yes/No and post if you have an example.
I am having them calligraphed and copied -- they will resemble my invites.

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

I want to have menus made up. I think it looks nice and it's convenient for the guests and the waiters...(so they don't need to shout over the music).

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

vanderbilt mansion actually provides menus, but i think i will be doing my own, which will have the same design on them as my invites (haven't quite arrived at said design yet, but that's another story...).

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

That is great that the hall makes them. We have to bring everything in which has ups and downs. This is a down.

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

I like that there is a thing or two here and there thrown in-- makes me feel like I am really getting my money's worth.. certainly paying enough.

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

Our hall actually provides them for us. I was glad b/c that's one less thing that I have to spend money on. I don't think too many people will even notice that they won't match our invites.

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

I was planning on putting one on each table in a 5x7 frame. I'm not sure what they are going to look like but they will probably be pink.

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

i am going to do them myself. just print them out on the same paper we used for our save the dates--an invitation kit we bought at AC Moore.

i think only 2 per table but FH wants one per person.

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

i want to do menus but i am having a cocktail party reception with no assigned seating.

Should I put them on the table anyway? By that time people will have gotten their food...maybe on each carving station? Ugh...that would be dumb too.

I am thinking I can cross menus off my list...

(on the back of the program?)

Re: Doing menus for your wedding?

I'm doing menus...sorry I don't have a picture. I'm buying paper at Kate's Paperie and a foil stamp with a nice design and printing my own. I'd like to place them next to the mini bottle of Pop that we're giving as favors.

Well then I guess you dont love me!!! I had Nessiepie do them for me!!! She is able to get them to a professional printer if I wanted and do the raised lettering.. plus she did my monogram. They look a million times better in person!!! ( that pic is just of the sample)
