Doing Rehearsal Same Day As Wedding??

Hi all,
My wedding is in Long Island but I live in NYC. I asked my hotel what time to come the day before for a rehearsal and they said they do them the same day as the wedding. I'm kind of stumped now, because the day of the wedding everyone has hair/makeup appts. and is arriving at different times, so when would we do a rehearsal? Has anyone done yours the day of the wedding? If so, when did it fall in the schedule of events (photos, hair, makeup, etc)? Thanks!

It's probably not a rehearsal but a 5 minute run through.

For my friends wedding we did the rehearsal the day of the wedding after we took all the photos. Probably a half hour before the ceremony started.

Im doing it the day of the wedding as well. and this is what my venue told me.

the only time I heard of a rehersal before the day of is when it's actually in a church, otherwise they due a quick run thru an hour or so before your wedding.

Same here as well - RH and officiant told me that's easiest.
