Of course I do things without him! He is the love of my life and my best friend but everyone needs to do things alone or with friends once in a while.

I do things with and without him! I feel its only natural to want to do things alone or with someone else every once in a while. Its not healthy to be with ONE person ALL the time.

I do plenty without him. He hates to shop - so why make him do what makes hime miserable. He doesn't understand how I can spend an hour in a store - so I leave him home!

My fiancee and I typically only get to see each other once or twice a week because of our respective work schedules and since we don't live together. I really haven't done too many wedding things with him, nor have I asked for him to come with me (he just doesn't have time). When we CAN do things together, we usually like to do stuff as a couple, but if I HAVE to do shopping or something that doesn't interest him, then he doesn't come. Different strokes for different folks. :)

Yes, we do a lot of things a part. and Yes, we do a lot of things together. I think, for us, we are getting married after many, many, many years of being independent, living on our own, doing our own things, and when you live together as much as you love one another and want to spend time with the other person, I think its healthy to have separate interests. Its kind of like when we spend an afternoon a part for whatever reason you get so excited to race home and see him, I think its healthy and good for a relationship but that JMO. I think if its okay with the both of you then it is whats right for your marriage (like us!)
