My Fh and I booked our reception hall last thursday...our church this monday..our dj tuesday and today our photographer. I think we are absolutely nuts!!! Also we are going on Saturday to possibly book our florist!! We are giving deposits out like crazy. My fh is so excited and he just wants to go all over and book everything. We are getting married on March 6th 2010. My question to you all is ....is it terrible to be booking everything so far in advance?? We did our research on all we booked and we are 110% confident/excited with all that we have chosen. I guess I am overwhelmed because we only got engaged sept 21st!! lol had our engagement party on nov 15th and now we are booking. Please help!!! lol Feel free to say whatever...I won;t get offended!!!

Not at all. You get 08 prices and you will have lots of time to pay everything off. Now you have plenty of time to do all of the little things you need to do. I wish I had more things booked.

i think ur fine. if i had the time and money i would do the same....but i live out in NJ and am currently unemployed so my planning has been put on hold a bit lol.
as long as ur confident in your vendors then i think its great to do things in advance.

i dont think you are crazy. i had our hall booked i think less than a month after we were engaged and then we were on a roll booking after that. you get the 08 prices..you get the vendors you want...whats wrong with that?

I dont think it's crazy at all. I had my RH booked within weeks of getting engaged...and the band and photographer quicky followed. I am dragging my feet on flowers. I have one last appointment to make before making my final decision.
I think it's great to get it all done...so you get the 2008 prices, the vendors you want etc

Not at all! I was the same way and so was a lot of girls on the site! The beautiful part about booking early is we are getting 2008 prices!!!!!

Thank you all so much!! I feel so much better!! I never thought about the 2008 price thing!! I guess I was just reading too much about timeline stuff and what you should do each month like you get from different wedding websites and stuff. Thank you again!! =)

I would keep booking!!!! I got a quote from a vendor the other day that said '2009 price list' so some vendors have already started to raise their prices. Definitely lock in those 2008 prices!!

wow you did a lot in a few days!!! and it's not crazy lol. like the others said, its good to get the prices they are offering now. like for my band, i got the 2009 price.
