DOJ

sooo....just wondering if theres any other brides out there who don't want to spend 500$ on jewelry they're going to wear once....if soo where do you plan on getting yours?

i somehow got my grandmother to lend me family jewelry to wear, otherwise I was going to see if FH could get me something as our 2 year anniversary gift (from dating, since its the last time we'll celebrate it was the day we were official).

Some of the local bridal shops I found were expensive.

I'm no help I know lol. Um, try maybe in the city at a few places in the jewelry district.

I really don't want to spend much on my DOJ. I had purchased a bracelet and earrings set on Emitations.com for $28 and it was nice but both my mom and FH said that they thought it looks a little too 'cheap' and that I should find something else. My mother is also the one buying me my DOJ so I was trying to save her money but she said that she doesn't care if it's a little expensive and that I should get something a little nicer.

I refuse to pay anything near that LoL.. I don't really wear jewelry anyway so I wont use it much after the wedding.. I founf a few websites that have nice stuff at a reasonable price.. Ill try to get the web sites for you

thanks, I really like the Tejani stuff but its sooo expensive, and every bridal store has been really expensive too !

I still want to look like me on my wedding day. So I definitely want something I can wear again. I haven't even started looking- sorry I am no help!

my favorite designer is elliot dinori and he is at MACYS,
costume stuff, but looks great

also my FSIL knows where I can rent like really really expensive jewelry for for such occasions (she rented $10,000 earrings for like $100)

I found a beautiful necklace from Swarovski, but I don't have a dress yet so I don't know if it will go... which is annoying becquse it was on crazy sale last week, but I didn't want to spend the money and wind up not wearing it.

But I do plan of getting something from Swarovski and hopefully I can wear it in the futuree.
