I actually live over by the guy who owns it - he's done a bunch of houses in the area and they all look nice.

I'm sure he'd give you numbers for referrals. You can also check the better business bureau.

Yes--he did our roof last summer. It came out great, and his price was the best out of all of the other estimates.
