Has anyone ever asked their Reception Hall to donate the leftovers to Island Harvest or City Harvest?
I have read ina c ouple of books to ask the halls to do it, and there are special requirements, but I was wondering if the halls would be into this?

Re: Donating Left over food
Often times halls/restaurants won't do it b/c they worry about liability, but check with your hall each one's different. Also, you paid for the food, so maybe they'll give it to you and you can donate it?

Re: Donating Left over food
I spoke to the poeple at Island Harvest and they ill give the atering hall tins and containers and arrange for the pick up at the location.
There is a good samitarian law, that the catering facilities can not be held liable.
I am going to call the catering facility now.
Hope eveyone else will look into this, becasue the left overs will just be thrown out, if not donated.
www.islandharvest.org is their web address.
