donating money??

I know that a bunch of charities do that, for example I trhink St. Jude's does something where they will give you something to put out on the table to state that a donation was made in each person's honor - I think its a really nice thing

We are donating to the National Parkinson's Foundation in memory of my grandma....I found all the information I needed on their webpage..

Is there a charity that you have in mind? If so, see if they have a website & it should give you information there or at least a way to contact them!

We did it for my sister's wedding. and I am going to do it for my wedding next year.
My cousin;s baby who is 3 has Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) this disorder causes benign tumors to form in many different organs, mainly in the brain, eyes, heart, kidney, skin and lungs. She has it in her brain which one of the worst areas that TSC can be found, cause the tumors never go away.

First you need to find an organization you want to donate to and then you can either contract someone you know or just call the organization. My sister donated the money in the baby's name and the money will go towards research for a cure. It was easy for us cause we had an organization that is dear to our heats. Hope that helps.

yes - we are donating money to St. Judes. we simply went to stjudes.com and clicked on the link for wedding donations.... pretty much dummy proof from there. they let you pick what you want them to send you - wheter it be a scroll or card, etc.

i had a girlfirend who also donated to breast cancer (she lost her mom to the battle) and that was beautiful as well.

hi! we just did a donation for our wedding.... we donated to the lance armstrong fund... and we ordered the livestrong bracelets, so everybody go something to take home with them.... it was a huge hit! there are a lot of charities that do the wristbands now... definitely worth looking into

We are doing this also. it has a lot of meaning to us and we figure it is a great way to honor FI and all of the other cancer survivors.

I am donating to lukeima/ Lymphoma society in honor of my Mom- who died last year

I think the donation favor is SO MUCH better then some little thing that collects dust or gets thrown out

MY FMIL in baking wedding cake shaped cookies and I going to attach a little card saying something about my Mom

I was going to do the bracelets- but the site I found only gave 50%- read things carefully
