I was just thinking about that the other day. I never wanted to get rid of my prom dress, because every time I'd go to my parents' I'd try it on to make sure I still had the same hot bod. But now I have my wedding dress to mesure myself against!

Re: Donating prom dresses?
I know the high school I teach out collect old prom dresses during the spring time. You might want to call your local high school in the meantime I'll see if I can find out who they donate them to.

Re: Donating prom dresses?
The Junior League does a Prom Boutique every year where they collect prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses for underpriveleged H.S. girls.
This year, the collections will be done on April 6th. I don't know exactly where they are doing the collection though. I actually donated mine at a Weight Watcher's meeting because someone that volunteered for the JL was a WW member. This is the phone number 516-484-0485 for the JL. Just tell them you are interested in donating gowns for the prom boutique and I'm sure they will be able to help you.
