Donation Card: How is this writing?

Before I post a pic of my DIY Donation cards, i want to see if the wording is good. i know i have posted this before, but here is what i have:

In lieu of a traditional favor, Stuart and Danielle have made a donation in your name to SPOHNC.

Support for People with Oral, Head and Neck Cancer (SPOHNC) is an organization that raises awareness and offers support for people suffering with the various forms of oral head and neck cancers.

Stuart and Danielle would like to donate to this cause in memory of Danielle's father, Joe, who is missed on this joyous day.

Such a deserving cause, I could be wrong, and you don't have to take my advice but I think it sounds better like this
...'for people suffering from the various...'
It's just my opinion. HTH!
