FH and I are thinking of donating to 4 different charities and creating 4 different favor donation cards (one for each, obviously) .... then we will be mixing up the cards so that each guest receives a random card (so you might donate to one charity, and the person next to you will donate to another)
does this sound like a good idea or a weird one?
please tell me truth ... i won't get offended regardless of what you say (not about this, anyway lol)

imo, I think 4 is A LOT of charities to donate to. 1 even 2 is ok but 4 is a bit much. Imo, at that point I would think as a guest, 'How much could they possibly be donating or be involved in this charity if they are donating to 4 different one's.'

i would probably do one or two. four seems like too much - but i think it could be done definitely. and plus, it's up to you! if there are 4 charities you want to donate to, more power to you
there should be more people in the world like you who want to be so charitable!

If you can't decide then go with 2, but any more than that I think might be overkill and would make people scratch their heads. Something you might want to think about is having an explanation as to why you picked the specific charities. So if you go with the card idea (which is cute) say the charity and why you chose it. That would add a personal touch to the donation as well as people would find the fact that there are 2 a little less strange.

Personally I would pick 1.
We are picking 1 Charity. As much as we would love to donate to many charities, and I'm sure we all would, the American Heart association is very meaningful to us, becuase this will be made on behalf of FH's mom who passed.....We are also doing a edible favor as well

I am giving donation favors and we decided to just do 1 charity even though there are a few we would like to donate to. I suggest you pick one close to your heart, maybe in memory of a loved one that passed. I personally am donating to Brain Tumor Foundation in memory of my brother.

I would probably just choose one. This way it doesn't get confusing and ou can make a nice charitable donation.

The nest donation favor I got was a scroll that listed the charity and also had a few paragrahs about why the couple chose the charity. It was very touching and much more meaningful. I would suggest doing something like that
