For thos eof you who have already done this, how did you do the actual donation? Did you let the foundation kow that it was from a wedding or something? How much did you donate?

We donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. We made the donation online and there was an option that allowed us to mark off that it was part of our wedding gift.

I donated money on line thru there website
I wrote Beth and Jake's wedding 12/10
in memory of Beth's Mom
I did $3 per person and then had card printed up and attached to wedding cake cookies- everyone loved it

We haven't done it yet - but we will be donating to the American Cancer Society...they have a section for wedding donation...it gives you the option of choosing which donation announcement you would like (scroll, table frame, individual cards...etc)...I'm sure if you call where you would like to donate they will give you the proper announcement

Nope we didn't although I didn't want anything so I might have bypassed that option. You can usually call in the donation as well and then ask for the scrolls or something.
