Donation favors

Me and FH want to do donation favors as part of our favors....
Does anyone know where there's info on each charity on how much of each $1 donated goes to actual HELP not admin fees, etc.... ?
I Know its required by law for them to report I am just hoping there's a master chart for cancer charities somewhere I want to be able to help the most amt. of people with the $.

Im thinking so far of looking into:
St. Jude's
& American Cancer society

Any input on additional charitys would be greatly appreciated my family and fh's have been effected by cancer more times then we care to count, so it would be great to give something to them to work towards a cure.

I would check out www.animalrescue.com-there is a link on there for cancer donations.

My sister used to work at Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute and that is where she made her donation!

i donated to the american cancer society in memory of my grandparents, who died of cancer. i made up scrolls, and many members of my family cried when they read it. i know i made the right decision by making those as opposed to buying a trinket

I know that Saint Jude donates like 98%. I just researched this myself for something NWR.

Go to
http://www.networkforgood.org
Type in your charity, and then click on the report link

You will get a report on what the charity does with its money

Re: Donation favors

they were just talking about this on good morning america on friday.

they said they had a link to a watchdog agency so that you can get that exact number. they also said that for a charity to be 'good' they need to spend at least 68% on the actual purpose.

i'll see if i can find the link

The Lung and Heart Association is what I gave to after my Father passed away.
