Donation instead of favor

I am donating to a Brain Aneurism charity since my mom had one a year and a half ago, and since I am lucky enough to still have her here, I want to give something back.

What is a good way to display this at the tables? Any ideas? 'in lieu of favors a donation has been made' type thing.

I'm also making a donation instead of favors and cards (depending on what your donating to) can read something like this

'In lieu of favors a donation has been made in your honor to the (name of place)
Thank you for sharing our celebration
you name and wedding date

or

To our family and friends

We have chosen a special way to say thank for sharing our day with us.
We have made a donation in you honor to the ****

In loving memory to all our family and friends who have been affected by this disease

Your name and date


There are soooo many different ways of wording the cards...i hope this helped

i am doing donations to adopt a classroom, a nonprofit organization to help classrooms with books, materials, etc...since andrew and i are both teachers and met through education. im going to find some sort of teacher-theme stationary/cardstock and print it on that....
