When you make a donation in lieu of giving a favor to your guests, how much $$ do you think you are supposed to donate? I know everyone's situation is different, but what is the ballpark?
Thanks!

Re: donations
Try and figure out if you were having favors what would that cost you? I envisioned favors that I would like and figured how much they would end up costing. I took that price and used that price to donate it.

Ditto for what we did. I figured the cost of a traditional favor and used that as our donation.

Re: donations
I'm doing the same thing and I'm going to donate what it would cost me for the favors. How are you going to let your guest's know? I'm not sure how to go about doing that?

Re: donations
I am donating about $2 per guest. I am also including a box of chocolates and a scroll... all the supplies was about $1.50 per guest... total $3.50 per guest.

Re: donations
i think we're going to print up little cards. i was at another one where they gave out little scrolls, that looked like they might have come from the place the donation was made to
