My aunt who lives in Smithtown wants to donate her living room sofa to charity. Does anyone know of any organizations out there in Suffolk county that picks up donated furniture?? TIA
p.s. I was going to post this on the charity board, but this board gets more traffic.

The SA won't take it because it's a sofabed....for healthreasons, (mattress) they don't accept sofabeds..

Big Brothers/Big Sisters will take anything except a mattress.
What about posting a few signs around Stony Brook University?
When I was away at Albany, we bought a sofabed from a local resident.
