Donations & Small favors?

Brides doing small favor along with a donation, how are you making your guests aware that you are doing a donation?

How are you wording it?

We bought small cards that we'll attach to a bag of jordan almonds ... the cards say:

in lieu of a traditional favor
we have made a donation in your honor to
The World Wildlife Fund

Thanks for being a part of our special day

I didn't do a small favor but for my donation, there's a pic in my review so you can see how I worded it.

We are going to have a little tag on each cookie ribbon stating that

In lieu of favors, we have donated to the Alzheimers Association but please enjoy this cookie as a small token of our many thanks.

Something like that, Or, we might just have a framed paper from the foundation on each table. We are still undecided.

Thats what i was trying to decide, because all the tags that i have been finding are soo small to fit everything I want to say on them. But I definatly want them to know that the little bag of M&M'S are not their favor its just a small token, as we donated.

Anytime

I ordered small votive candles, put them in organza bags, and made favor tags that read:

'We hope you enjoy your night knowing that you've made someone's life a little brighter.'

Then...

'Donations have been made in your honor to...'
